Barricades


Korman Signs offers a variety of choices for barricades including Type II, Type III Klassic Kade and Type III EZ-Kade Barricades. All Type III barricades are approved to display single 2mm ALPOLIC® signs up to 33 square feet or any combination of signs up to 33 square feet mounted to single or multiple rails at 12" minimum from ground to bottom of sign per WZ-100 acceptance letter.


Crash Tests

Korman Signs has conducted a series of crash tests and received acceptance not only on the use of ALPOLIC® for barricade signing but also on our own comprehensive family of Type III Barricades. All of our Type III Barricades have been through this rigorous and thorough crash testing program and accepted on FHWA Letter WZ-100 Amendment #3.

Type II Barricades

Jammer Series
Lightweight and easy to handle, these traffic control devices are built to last and engineered to meet your specific needs and requirements. Impact resistant legs available in steel or HDPE tubing with cross bars 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick; barricade legs intermesh for compact storage. Type II barricades come in two sizes, either 24" or 36" wide with extruded or fluted plastic panels from 8" to 12". Panels can be covered with 3M™ Diamond Grade, High Intensity Prismatic, or Engineer Grade Prismatic sheeting on one or both sides of the barricade with a left or right slant pattern.


Jammer Series


  • NCHRP 350 Crash Tested and FHWA Approved
  • Barricade light attaches easily with 7" bolt, included
  • Optional 2mm ALPOLIC® sign mounted on panels up to 48" x 48" sold separately
  • Replacement parts are available for repairs & converting barricade from 24" to 36"
  • Side-lock holds barricade in secure open position


Type III Barricades

Klassic-Kade
Our Type III Barricades are made from versatile galvanized square tubing for both skids and uprights. The skids are connected to the uprights by a stub weld base receiver. The panels are available in lengths of 4 ft., 6 ft., 8 ft., 10 ft., and 12 ft. Reflective sheeting is available in 3M™ Diamond Grade, High Intensity Prismatic, or Engineer Grade Prismatic on one or both sides. Assembly Required.


Klassic Kade


EZ-Kade
The EZ-Kade Type III Barricade includes our "Quick Release" bracket that makes set up and storage a snap. Square tubing makes for durable, stronger barricades that are built to last over the long haul. This combined with lightweight plastic rails make them easy to handle and set up with one person. There are no tools necessary to drop and fold the barricade, just lift up and the uprights lay flat. Panels are made in 4 ft., 6 ft., 8 ft., 10 ft., and 12 ft. lengths. Barricades are available in 5 ft. and 7 ft. heights. Assembly Required.


EZ Kade


Barrier Wall

The Yodock Traffic Control System is made of heavy-duty, recyclable polyethylene. These units can be accessorized to meet a variety of traffic control product categories. Available in Opaque Ivory and Orange.
